Meet Michael Schulz

Mike Schulz is a 35-year veteran of the engineering and construction industry and has extensive experience in managing design/build projects worldwide. Since joining Rebuilding Together Sandoval County in 2018, Mike has been primarily involved in new client intake, grant writing and grant management.

Prior to Rebuilding Together Sandoval County, Mike served as a Principal for the Wood Group, a global consulting and engineering firm, where he managed some of the company’s largest and most complex environmental cleanup projects as well as more traditional construction projects for the oil and gas industry, mining industry, and US federal government. Mike is a Certified Project Management Professional and holds an MS degree in Geology.

Mike has been a New Mexico resident since 1984 when he first relocated to Taos for a job assignment and completely fell under the spell of the Land of Enchantment. His love for our state fueled a desire to help our underserved communities through volunteer work and he takes great pleasure in applying the skills from his former career to the growth and further development of our affiliate.
